Salmon With a Creamy Dill Sauce

on Jan 18, 2024

Ingredients

  • 2-3 fresh dill sprigs
  • ½ cup of water
  • 4 oz salmon fillet, skin off
  • ¼ cup prepared Good Grow® Stage 3 Nutritional Toddler Drink, Milk Flavour (1 scoop added to 50ml of water)
  • ¼ cup plain full fat yogurt
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped sprigs
  • ½ tsp lemon juice
  • ¼ cup carrots & broccoli, cut into small pieces

Step by step

  1. In a saucepan, combine water and dill and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Place salmon into saucepan. Place a steamer basket with the vegetables on top of the saucepan. Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes or until salmon is cooked through and the flesh is firm.
  2. While the salmon and vegetables are cooking, make the creamy dill sauce. In a saucepot over medium heat, bring Good Grow® to a boil while whisking constantly. Remove from heat and stir in yogurt, fresh dill, and lemon juice.
  3. Once salmon is cooked, remove from the pan, and cut into two portions (one for you, and one for your toddler!). Shred one portion into small pieces that are age appropriate for your child.
  4. Serve salmon topped with creamy dill sauce and a side of steamed carrots & broccoli.

Tip:

Sauce makes enough for one toddler meal and one grown up meal!

Note:

The cooking/baking process will inactivate the active probiotic cultures in Good Grow®.
