The length of your cycle is the number of days between the first day of one period and the first day of the next.

Ovulation is the release of a mature egg from an ovary during the menstrual cycle. The best time to get pregnant is around the time you’re ovulating. This is about 6 days each month, including the day of ovulation and the 5 days before.¹
